So I bought a 96 ranger 5sp 2whldrv and just started losing breaks, no leaks or anything in the lines, if i stomp on them they go but if eased into, pedal goes to the floor and has absolutely no brakes! help please? ive been told booster, but im not sure

Probably not the booster. But, an internal leak in the master will give you those symptoms. When you push on the peddle slowly, the fluid could be passing by the cups and returning to the reservoir. So no visible leak.

Since you have a 96 though, you should have a dual master, so half the brakes should be working. Or, I guess maybe not!

That makes a lot of sense, I can feel the back brakes just a bit so that actually makes sense. Thank you for the help!
