After replacing all the lines from the front to the rear discs I had a pedal that would go to the floor. I bled them several times with a mighty vac. and even replaced the master cyl which I bench bled.I have good pedal when the engine is off but when I start it up the pedal is mushy and can easily go to the floor. I must have run a gallon of fluid through it and even bought speed bleeders. No improvement. 2 questions... what are your thoughts on this and which port on the master cyl. controls which line is which. Thanks...2000 F150 4x4 4.6 engine. Thanks

Calipers on the wrong sides? Bleeder needs to be on top.

If so, I would have someone pump the pedal and you open the bleeders.

If that doesnt work, I'd try a new MC. I just had the same problem you're having.

Thanks guys. My orig. master cyl. blew out apparently when the line blew. I replaced the original that was bad and now it seems the new one is crapola too. I'll get another one and see.

Well, I got the brakes working. Turns out I was sold the wrong m.c.
