So i did my brakes about 3 weeks ago on my 85 B2. I bought new pads and new caliper pins. Just recently my brakes have been making a banging noise, and starting today, if i press the brake abruptly it sounds like the inside pad is jiggling in its place.

Any suggestions.

Did you get a set of anti-rattle clips with the pads? They help...

Do your brakes stick sometimes? Had that problem and they would clunk every once in a while...turned out to be the flex hoses where damaged causing them to stick...not a hard fix and worth the effort...

When i bought the pins they came with anti-rattle clips, but i had no idea what to do with them, i have never seen them before.

The "rattle" has gotten worse and i am thinking it is not the brakes anymore, when going slow if i tap the brakes the front driver tire makes a clunk noise, my brother even said the tire wiggle a bit when it happens. He thinks it is a ujoint that is going bad.

Well it seems that its the inside brake pad moving around. Looks like i need to put in the anti rattle clips :annoyed:
