So I've found a leak in my driver side rear brake line. I was planning to replace the line tomorrow so I went to put some PB blaster on it. I found that it looks like my bleeder on the brake is sheared off.
Here is a picture of both rear drum brakes, one missing part of the bleeder
Any advice?

you are going to have to replace that brake cylinder

Fun.... if it was me I would plan on replacing both wheel cylinders, both hard lines, and the soft middle line. Age & rust are not kind to those things. You will need to bleed the brakes hence the wheel cylinder replacement recommendation.

Drums look pretty crusty too, when was the last time you did a brake job on it? Might be worth pulling a drum to inspect everything now so you can order parts accordingly. The cost can add up but often I have found that it's best just to hit everything at once, that way you're not buying parts halfway through what was supposed to be a simple job.

Looks like it is time for a new wheel cylinder. I would replace both at the same time.

Edit: Wow. So many of the same responses at the same time. Do we all check the Ranger Station on our lunch breaks?

Good to know, thanks!

I just replaced all the springs and brake shoes back in december.
I'll replace the rest this weekend.
Thanks again

We are pulling double duty for @RonD during his absence !!!

Good job. It always feels good to replace rusty parts with shiny new parts.

Good deal
