I have a spare BII frame that I want to box and wanted to see if anyone had any hints or advise.

I will say I don't know how to weld so a friend will be handling that part for me but I will be cutting the material and getting everything ready. I have read enough to know not to end the pieces I'm adding with straight edges. To have them fish mouthed for strength.

Any advise would be welcomed.

If I was doing the same I would drill holes to lighten and dimple die the holes with a press, bearing race and a 2" or 2 5/16" trailer ball. This would also make it easier to fish wires or tube through.
Good luck,

Richard

Yes I am planning to put dimpled holes in it also. I like your idea of using a trailer ball and race! Would have never thought of that. Thank you!
