Just got a new 09 Ranger Sport 2wd and was starting to build a spoiler for it similar to the Honda Ridgeline. So I started measuring and discovered the back of my box is setting 1 in to the left at back. Any one else ever check the box, where is Ford quality controll on this. How big are the holes in the bottem of bed, can I loosen the bolts and just push it over, or do holes have to be made bigger to slide over. Wayne

loosten the bed bolts, you can straighten it up no problem

Just started, no pictures yet, but it will have its own unique look, nothing else like it on the road. If you want to see some of my builds, visit my web site www.burgmantrikes.com I am going to be building a new trike body for www.trinitytrike.com for their new Burgman 650 trike and will make avaiable to the public. Wayne . Nova Scotia

This would also be covered under your warranty if you don't feel like doing it yourself.

I've had to square up a couple of boxes at work now, one on an f150, the other was a ranger.

Thanks for the replys, truck is only few days old, I will probaby do it my self, just have to wait around a day for them to do it. How big is the holes under the washers, Ill have to get a socket to fit it and use air to get them loose. Wayne

I believe they are about an inch in diameter. Should be more than enough to get it straight.

i would definitely take it back to the dealer and make them fix it because if you do it, you may have exposed metal that could rust and besides that way if they don't fix it right you can make them paint the bed later.

12mm bolts in a 20mm hole.

Not only that the clip nuts will float in the frame.
by a similar ammount because again the holes in
the frame in are ~18mm
