2008 F-250 Diesel, got it for dirt cheap, only has 8,000 miles, the dealer had sold it to a guy for 62,000 (we're in Canada remember), he traded it back in and bought a 4 door because the ext. cab wasnt big enough, so now i have it. I got it for 39,000 and put 20,000 down on it.

Fully loaded lariat and damn its nice!

not so nice to fill up...$115 cdn a tank lol

As for the ranger i'm keeping it and doing some more work on it. keeping it a trail basher.

What did you do with the 07 ranger you had? Starting a collection?

amazing.......my favourite trucks..

p.s I seen the pic of your ranger in front of a big greenish bridge and asked my dad if hes ever seen that bridge cause he works up there and he said he has to go across that bridge everyday for work...

Not what id buy, but looks good.

id rather be pulling with a long bed fullsize truck. The longer a truck, the more stable platform for pulling. I know people will argue this to the bitter end, but in my opinion (which i know is absolutely worthless to most) a short bed truck just isnt a big enough truck for doing much work. I know my tow rig is only a regular cab, but at least i can put 8ft boards in my bed without them sticking out. With a weight distributing hitch, and sway controls, you could pull a sizeable trailer without much issue, but i still wouldnt want to do it. Having driven trucks from regular cab short beds, up through crew cab long beds, the longer the more stable. Period, end of sentence.

I tow with a Minivan. :thefinger:

While you are correct (longer is more stable) there's no reason to come on here an bash his truck. It's hardly a waste of a truck. It can still haul people, haul a good payload in the bed and tow a heavy trailer, which is what pretty much defines a truck. He didn't buy it to make you happy. I'd rather tow with that than a 1/2 ton 70's Ford truck.

#1: Wasnt bashing his truck, just those types of trucks. ive driven then multiple times, in various levels of equipment and i still have the same feelings about them. For anything more than tight spaces, street driving, and looking good, i dont have any use for them, and i don't think anyone could really prove otherwise to me very easily.

#2: Since everyone seems to think im being so harsh, i changed my first post, and deleted those following.

#3: So you scold me for "bashing" his truck, and yet you see it as ok to bash my truck.

Ya know what, you win. I gave my opinion, and got belittled and berated just for it. Im just going to stop posting in this thread and leave you with one final thing. Drive what you want, drive how you want, where you want. It doesnt matter to me. I voiced my opinion, that is all.

i signed the lease over to my dad for the 07 ranger, he wants a super duty like my new one so hes going to trade the leased 07 and his 2003 silverado in for a new one lol, i like it, i'm not a fan of big four door trucks, i hate how everyone in fort mcmurray has one, i like to be different and it still does what i need it to do, its going to be my work truck so i figured i'd get an extended cab because its only going to be me using it.
