I laid down some pretty staggering hp numbers with my 3.0! lol, 95hp! whoooo!

I know there are a ton of variables, and they're not that accurate, but its a pretty fun little toy, and well worth the price I paid. If I had to guess I would have expected somewhere around 100 rwhp. its pretty consistant too. I did it 6 times on a flat road (back and forth on the same road 3 times) and everytime with the exception of once (83hp) I got between 91hp and 94hp.

I bought it because it was cheap, interesting and fun. not for bragging rights or thinking my truck is fast. if you find one on the cheap, pick it up! its fun even with a slow ass truck!
we also did my friends 2000 jetta.... I think it was 92hp. he also has a porsche cayman S but we didn't figure out how to use it til after he put it in the garage. and my girlfriends jeep tj with a 4.0L did 127hp, 131hp and 125hp the three times we did it, lol.

p.s., for shits and grins, im going to see if my friend from work will run it in his car to see how accurate it is.... I watched him pull 574rwhp on a dyno a few weeks ago, but he doesn't drive it to work, so it might be a while.

alright, even though nobody seems mildly interested in this, lol... im pretty sure a broke some sort of speed record with a 17.79 sec 1/4 mile time.... there is not a faster vehicle built in bulgaria!

lol, I almost bought one of those last month... my mower died, and I used to love the one we had when I was a kid... it was from somewhere in the late 1800's, nd everytime you used it you got about twenty slivers.... it seriously cut great though! I chickened out though (was afraid it wouldn't be as good as I remembered, lol) and bought a gas one... its the same color as my truck, and same output, lol.

I didnt think anyone had one of them anymore. I think there is still one in my moms shed. IIRC its from the 40's.

I'd have a heart attack if I tried to mow my 2.5 acres with one of them. I'd rather not spend the whole weekend mowing the lawn. Just jump on the JD, turn the key, and go.

my yard when I lived in ny, was about 2 acres, my yard in nc is about 100ftx150ft.... I needed a push mower again anyway, lowes sells them for $100. I just thought it would be nice not to worry about running out of, or getting bad gas ever again, lol.... and saving $200 in the process was tempting.

95 whp is probably close with the tires as that thing sees it. could be in the 120's though if its healthy.

i have owned a few g techs, and found them very close/consistent on some parameters.

my 6.5 is about 100 hp. but actually has a usable torque curve that 100hp can manipulate as well as it can.

combined with a good tuner i think they are worth the money for base tuning on the run.

they still make those things, people in cali love em. some of the yards over there are nearly non-existent, only takes a few mins to mow, even with a reel mower!
