And I'm kicking my ass now. It looked really good so I bought it. I unloaded it after picking it up a couple weeks ago. When I went to load it up for our long weekend the jacks started to move a bit so I set it back down on some saw horses that I built years ago [I'll take pics-they will hold a LOT of weight]. Being that I do [did] house renovations I wasn't to worried about tearing it apart to remove the little bit of rotten wood. Well..... It's a lot of rotten wood, Ive already removed the windows, door and the bottom 4' of aluminum skin and the front up to the roof, and it looks like I'll be removing the roof next as the vent has been leaking for a while. The way these are built is not in the same order as a house would be... the roof goes on last! This means that I can't remove the inside panel around the vent without.... you guessed it, removing the roof.
Oh well, back to work,

Some pics of when I first got into it;

My father-in-law volunteered to help as I was too busy with other projects so he got rid of the rotten wood and replaced it with some good stuff.

Total cost so far is the original C$340.00 plus C$110.00 in six 2"x3"x8' and one 3/4"x4'x8' plywood and some styro insulation yet to be installed. I have on hand a roll of wood grain embossed 2'x100' aluminum sheet that I'll use to replace the majority of the siding with. Replacement cost of the roll is ~C$275.00 I hope to have this done this weeks end. We'll see, as the honey-do list has grown some.
