Whats the definition of old man lol. With a lil' study'n I see that 2x12 back "bumper" prolly isn't part of the bed but I figured with the 4x4's as trusses it added up but it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. I've me and a buddied fullsize beds a few times so my weight perception may be off the hardest part of that is getting it up high enough to clear the frame since I'm 5'6" lol. Not trying to knock on you or anything totally respect the work in it guess it's just different strokes for different folks:icon_thumby:

And in case your wondering or somebody gets excited yes in fact I am a "mexican forklift".

The treated lumber is heavy at first,,, after a summer of drying out, it looses a great deal of weight, I stain it with used motor oil, Amsoil....lol
