In addition to my hilift jack I also carry a bottle jack when four wheeling. Depending on the situation, I select the best jack to use. Using a bottle jack has a few drawbacks though. The small flat top likes to slip off the round tube of axles and often times with bigger tires you can run out of jack before you get the vehicle high enough. So I made this adapter that slides over the top of my jack and adds 2" to the height. It is more then enough now to get my truck high enough to change a tire.
