sorry if this doesnt belong here but this has been bugging me.

So i have an international scout with a 304 and i want to bore it. The original bore for it is 3.875...sooo does anyone know what a .030 overbore in cubic inches would be? and what a .060 overbore in cubic inches also would be?

again, sorry if this doesnt go in the right place...

I have no idea... my boss has a 304 Scout though.... just thought I would pop in and say that they are the most unstoppable vehicles I have ever even heard of coming from the factory. I love a scout. If you get one that's not rotted though you are doing darn good, most of them have found their way to mud pits and mountains.

.030 bore would give 309 ci. The .060 would give a 313 ci. I had the slant 4 banger in 4x2. Loved it till the floor boards disappered, door fell off and gas tank fell out (luckily while parked at home).

ahh thanks. i was doing some research and it seems that .060 is about 10 cubic inches more. Ya my dad, brother and I have a scout. Mines a 77, my dads is a 75 and my brothers (worst of them all) is a 78 i think. I love them cause they are work horses and basically never break down.
