Hello,

I have a 87 Bronco II that has been lifted using the stx (high lifter brackets) and a few washers under a set of 2" skyjacker coil springs. It also currently has 31x10.5 tires and I would like just a bit of more clearance. I have been looking at putting a 1" body lift just to give me the clearance. I found some 1" body lift pucks but i dont know how long of bolts I need.

So my question is how long are the stock bolts? It appears that the rubber body bushings and hardware was replaced prior to me buying it, so I would like to just buy longer bolts. Also what is the thread and pitch on the stock bolts?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also with me using the high lifter brackets could I install 4" lift springs? It has adjustable camber bushings already.

The bolts should go through the floor and through the body bushing then have a nut on the bottom, best and easiest thing would be to remove a bolt and just get some an inch longer.

I want to say that the stock bolts are metric. Which may be difficult to find in an appropriate length. I never had success removing the factory bolts because mine have always been rusted to garbage, so I've replaced the whole thing with SAE bolts. You can take one apart and check the thread though. The lengths vary depending on the bushing size and location, so each bolt is a different length.

I'd like to know numbers because once I pull mine apart I'm stuck with my truck until its done.

They are metric. I had no luck finding the same size bolts when I did my body lift, so I did the same and replaced them with 1/2" Grade 8 bolts. As far as length goes, it's hard to say without pulling them all out and checking them. Many of mine were different lengths.

This is what most of mine looked like.

when I did my body lift I had to chop all the bolts and bushings apart they were rusted so bad so when I ordered the new parts I did both body bushings and the 2" lift, the lift pucks came with the bolts needed for the lift height.

Well the directions to the performance accessories 2" body lift shows all the bolts to be 12mm-1.75 x 160mm so if I do 1" pucks 12mm-1.75 x 135mm bolts should work.
