Hi, I just stumbled upon this site, and must say, wow, alot of good reading and info on here. However, I haven't seen any torque specs...or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place.

Anyways, I was wondering what the torque specs are on the bolts from the converter to the flywheel are suposed to be? At a guess, we torqued em to 50 ft. lbs. was that too much or not enough? Also, what about the bolts from the bell housing to the engine block?

This was on a 2000 ranger 4wd with 4.0L Ohv engine and auto tranny (5R55E I think) can look tomorrow for the code if needed.

thank ya

I have a Haynes repair manual that i live by, but its a really poor book in many ways. all i could find were (ftlbs)

transmission-to-engine bolts 28-38
Torque converter-to-driveplate nuts 26-34
neutral start switch 84-120in-lbs
