This probably isn't the right area, but I see most discussion is going on in here and I am going to put my motor and trans back in today, when I removed it a few of the bellhousing to engine bolts were missing...any idea what size they are?

Engine/Tranny might help.

Since you've got the motor and tranny out, what I would do is find a bolt that'll thread into the back of the block, thread it in by hand until it lightly bottoms out, back it out a couple turns, add in the thickness of the bellhousing and plate and you've got your length. Then go down to the local hardware store and buy some bolts and washers if you don't have them on hand.

Im pretty sure its a 13mm. theres 2 long bolts that go at the bottom and the top 4 are shorter. I dont know the pitch or anything. if you can wait till monday Ill take them down to NAPA and get them checked.

on a 2.3 (Lima) or 2.9/4.0 (Cologne) the bellhousing bolts are 10mmX1.5thread typically with 13mm heads.

If OTOH you have a 3.0 the bellhousing bolts are 12mmX1.75 with 15mm heads.

If you have a 2.3DOHC I don't have any idea.
