It was raining, so there was no walk video around last weekend.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

He'll live on in that beauty of a truck though.

Again, sorry for your family's loss. Ron's memory will live on with Oliver and the time that you all have spent with BoJac.

Truck is still trapped in the garage with their camper behind it, I did finally start it for the first time since he parked it in there. Checked fluids and everything looked ok, gave it a twist... and nothing.

Tinge of panic.

Apparently 1991 is near when they started getting sophisticated enough to care about pushing the brake before it would crank. Pushed the brake, it cranked for awhile and it did fire up and run great.

Not sure if the extended cranking time is a issue or if that is just what happens when a rig sits for 3 months. Never had a non gravitity fed engine sit that long before.

Would be interesting if you could try starting it again after an hour or two and then the next day. But, a truck that old, it wouldn't surprise me for the fuel to run back to the tank over a 3 month period.

Yeah, we didn't have an hour or I would have.

My brother in law kinda remembers hearing about a cold start issue but doesn't remember the details or hearing about any progress on it.. So it is probabky an issue.

Sorry to hear of your loss, but it is great you have some great memories of him and can continue with a bit of his legacy. Great looking truck. Explorer console and seats look great in it. I have seen these trucks fire up quick, and others take a little time. I think it has to do with the system being primed up that can make the difference. I have experimented with different brands of pumps and fuel pressure regulators. Still trying things and have not found a solution just yet.
