Boggins First Ranger Trouble..

Hey, Jus came back from my cabin where the ranger is at, but only for a break, goin back again in a few minutes,
Heres How it Started:
First thing i did was get pics for you guys:

After I Installed The Light Bar:

And I didnt even Try To Start it, and when i did after i had the Light bar on, She wouldnt get no power at all, so i checked the battery, that was all hooked up and everything, then i scratched my head and thought of the sylinoid (or however you spell it)
so i checked and sure enough thats what it was

So i called a friend who has a Gen 2, he went and forgot, this was friday, so this morning he looked in his shed, couldnt find one, the he went and looked in the Ranger, wasnt there, So I came down home today, knowing where i could get one from a 90 4.0, so I went and got it around supper time, (i waited cause I was plowing the potato garden), and came home and went and checked, sure enough it was there, but the owner of the land was driving back and forth with a contrary look, and mom was waiting in the truck out by the road, and she told me to hurry up cause the owner was getting a bit pissy, so i just took my time anyways, got it off, its identical to mine, so now im off back to the cabin wagging my tail with a new sylinoid,

p.s. I did have permission to access the land, just from the person who works at the garage on the land, guess he didnt tell the owner about, so its not like i stole it,

and btw, incase your wondering, yes, I do have a Western-Star Trucks battery in the old ranger

Slap some lights on that bar man. Looks a little high though, I bet you could fit a row of rectangle shaped ones on the bottom side.

Lookin good...although I'll be honest and say that I don't really like the light bar. You need some chrome wheels too. Nothing fancy, but just something to offset all the black.

Glad to hear you had permission, you hear about people swipin' parts a lot these days, especially cat. converters.

Is it must my eye for small, ridiculous, detail; or is the light bar bracket hanging over the drivers side door in these pics? Were you just not finished mounting it, or am I seeing things?
Cause it looks like it'd keep you from opening the door like that.

I'd go silver so's there is some contrast, or replace 'em with chrome. Just my .02.

Hey, thanks for the comments, and yea the light bar wasnt done than, and its not on now cause its being painted black, and Koda, I'm puttin 2 round ones on the outside, and 2 or 3 rectangle ones in the middle. The rectangle's under the bar just might work!

Well anyways, I came home today, I was staying at my grandparents house, not at my cabin, even though they're right next door, i stayed and pop's, seems thats the actual garden the ranger's at,
Well I was supposed to stay up there this whole week, but i came home because of a big argument we were in about me not going to church, well i stayed home anyways, and i went to call mom to come get me, But, they took the cordless phone, left it on, and hide it away so i couldnt call mom to get me ( CHILD ABUSE!!), wel anyways, i unplugged all the base's they had for the cordless phones, and called mom, on the different cordless, and she came got me, all while they were in church,
But while i was up there, I couldnt get the ranger to go, i hooked up the sylinoid every which way possible, and i cant get no power, im guessin' that sylinoid is gone too, would it make any difference if it came off of a 4.0? the sylinoid is identical to mine anyways, so i think that one is gone too,

No chrome or silver is going on that truck,
the wheel are going black with a orange trim around the outer lip, and the lug nuts orange,
and i have some car trimming , the kind that can go like around the fenders, door, etc. and i think I'll be getting some to paint orange and go on the fender

haha. maybe you should buy a plane ticket for Newfoundland which is thousands of miles away from you and I'll meet you at the airport and we can do a little bit of work on the truck,

I think its only like... a thousand miles. Would take me a day or two to drive there. Haha.

Oh, the light bar looks great, the wheels... What happened dude? You can draw a better circle than those!

oh haha, the front wheel is pretty good, but the rear one i was getting pissed so i just used the straight lines for it, but thats what I'm going to do with it, and I'm getting Rear Window Louvers, and some Ranger emblems for the fenders, anybody sellin' any? I only need one, but 2 of them would be great too, and some window louvers if anybody get 'em, thanks

finally somebody agrees with me. i have been painting over chrome since i got my first truck. black looks better than chrome on any vehicle, anywhere.
