haha, well i got it installed and everything today,
but my truck will turn over fine but doesnt catch,
and i realized, the fuel pump wasnt cutting in when the key was turned.
and guess what
I removed the bed myself!, remember i tried it on twitch and didnt work? well i just have a thing for rangers..
well anyways i took off the bed, (btw im leaving it off cause it looks bad ass!)
and took the cap out from the top of the tank and checked the fuel pump, i put battery charger on it and the pump cuts in ok then, so it has to be the wiring, so i checked the wires with my tester and they dont work, so i have to trace the wire right up to the front, im thinkin the wire is gone where the ignition is or something, Im getting a mechanic over to look at it later on, and should have her working tomorrow.
that is all..
theres a relay on the passengers side fender for the fuel pump, theres also a shut off switch on the floor under the passengers side dash. check both of those. theres also 2 fuel pums on your truck. one in the tank and one on the frame rail under the drivers door. make sure they are both operational. btw, when you are troubleshooting, start with the easy stuff (switched and relays) and work your way up to the harder stuff (pulling the bed to check the pump)
