body swap?

has anyone here done a body swap on their ranger. i want to put my 2wd ranger body on a 4wd ranger chassis. supposively i could transfer my lift kit and my body over if they were around the same year. i want to put my rear axle in it because its already regeared and locked. i want the other ranger to have a 4.0l v6 engine cause ive given mine hell and it runs as good as ever. but maybe with less miles on it.

Your 2wd lift won't work with the 4x4 truck.

Are you saying that the body won't fit on the 4X4 frame? What if you put in a new lift kit? I am wanting to put a 92 body on to a 89 4X4 rolling chassis. Will it Work?

yes.........hell i just put a ext cab ranger on my b2 frame and we put a std cab ranger on my buddies explorer frame.

Teh body's will swap.

2wd rangers have a different engine crossmember then 4wds. So the susp. components won't interchange but the body should have no problem interchanging with the frame.
