Well saturday is a big day for our ranger. we are taking off the 3" body lift. My girlfriend and I are going to start repairing the truk to get it back into shape due to the previous owners neglegence. We got our dayco mounts today and we are headed out to my friends house to put them in. She is excited because she will be in the mix of it to. I just simply LOVE a girl who isnt afraid to get grease under her fingernails.....

Oh and believe me we are going to document everything we do to her truk. so be on the look out for our pics coming soon.:icon_thumby:

Well my buddy and I got the body lift off and have the new Dayco mounts in and my girlfriend LOVES it. She can actually get in it now with little effort. It only took us about 4 hours but it was worth it. The only snag was the bolts. Rust sucks ass but the torch still won. The previous owner did not use the ford bolts that have the sleeves with washers but neither did I though. But I used bolts that were the actual size of the bushing I.D.. This makes for a very solid mount and works very well. After we buttoned it up and took care of the tools we took her out back for some back 40 fun. I tell ya what the Dayco bushings and the bolts I used really made a big difference. According to my girl the truck drives better now than it did before. I am just glad its done and now onto the next project for the truck. I am going to rebuild a front axle for it.
Now I just gotta figure out how to upload pics on here so you can see the back 40 pics
