body mount broke??

hey idont know if this is where i should post this but anyways.. my passenger side rear cab mount looks to be broke and someone re-welded it on (crappy looking weld) where it was sitting...cab sits lower on that side..but the bottom of the mount sits past the frame.. or is that how the passenger side is??? can post a pic if that would help, thanks

No. I have the longbed like you...same year. Just ground mine off yesterday because it rusted out. They should be the same on both sides. Dealer wants 70 and they usually have to special order it. I got the aftermarket one on ebay for about 50 shipped...and its alot beefier.

There are 2 rivets you have to grind off, and 3 bolts to unbolt.

Definately look at the ebay one. That's what I got, a lot better mount than stock.

Just got mine tonight. The seller was chasemetal.....real nice quality bracket...but you do have to paint it. It will outlast your truck though.
