I have a 03' Ranger. The body lifts for this Ranger are like $200. Does anyone know why i can not use a body lift from a later year model. If there is just a couple parts that are different i can modify them or build new ones. I just don't see paying $200 for one. i can find a little older ones for about $100. i will do a little work to save $100. Can any help me out on finding out the difference between the lift kits.

98-08 kits are the same. Maybe 93+ but I'm not sure on that. Some companies just don't update their info.

I don't know why it is either. The only thing I can see that may be different is the bolt lengths?!? A 3'' body lift block is a 3'' body lift block. I paid $200 for the one on my 2002 and I didn't use hardly any of the "extra" crap they sent. I didn't need to extend my fuel filler neck or anything like that. One thing that may differ from the older kits to the newer kit is the steeing shaft extention. I have 2-4 blocks left over, and my cousin does also. I figure one mor body lift for us and we'll be able to make our own kit for something.

what company did you look a geting it from.
