i have a 1994 reg cab ranger i put a body lift on recently, i never got rear bumper brackets and was wondering what could i do to fill the gap between it or raise the rear bumper?

gap filling is easy for the under the tailgate, post up a pic and we could see what you want to do a little better...
moving the bumper up could be difficult depends on how it mounts to the frame.

PLEASE DO NOT JUST FILL THE GAP!!!!! I bought a '93 Ranger with a 3" body lift and the guy used diamond plate the fill the gap. If you don't plan on towing with your Rangers bumper you can modify and reuse/relocate your original brackets from the bottom of the frame to the top of the frame with some slight elongation of the holes to make finite adjustments.

If you have any questions please feel free to pm me with pics and I'll do my best to help you out.

I filled the gap. That way the bumper is still bolted solid to the frame (when I get stuck I get pulled out via the bumper...until I built a proper hitch). Works fine...doesn't look too bad

Old pic btw...no longer has gay lights or decal, and tailgate is no longer dented

On my '85 the bed bolts right on the frame with no bushings.

All my trucks had and have bumper relocation brackets. It is the claenest way to go....the gap looks just so bad to me, so I always raise the bumpers to match the lift.

Here is the rear of my 99 Ranger:

Nah, guys..I don't have enough yet...lol .....I am the original decal man. I made all my decals and stickers for years and sold tons of them on Ebay and at Daytona raceway. My vinyl decal maker played out two years ago and I do miss it. This summer the tailgate is going to be one big body wrap. I am putting an American eagle and the American flag background on it and will have to remove all my magnetic and vinyl decals.......Wahhhhhhhh.....lol

Here is some of my work on my truck and bikes:

If you just fill the gap......... you will be made fun of behind your back. Relocation brackets are dirt cheap.... just do it right.
