I am thinking of installing a 3" body lift on my 98' Ranger Splash. I was wondering how hard it is to install it yourself. Or how much it would be at a 4x4 shop. I am good at vehical work but never have done something like this before. I know that there are alot of steps and things to do. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

Thanks, joe

Many people say it can be done in a day. It just entails removing all the body and bed mount bolts, installing the spacers, and re-tightening the bolts. You also need to do the shifter and steering shaft extensions and bumper relocating brackets if the kit comes with them.

me and a couple friends installed my body lift.. we actually had a auto shop to work with though...we had the lift, air tools, etc.. we had never done a body lift before but i took us about 10 hours due to some modifications we made..
