im new to the forum and suspension lifts. What are the diifferences between a body lift and suspension lift? I want to lift my 2WD but not sure which one to do. Definately want to go cheaper. I would love any info and advice that anyone has, Thanks.

A Body lift is cheaper compared to a lift kit. a body lift for 250 vs lift kit for 600 and above, although if im correct i think those years only come in 3" BL.

The difference between the two is that a body lift lifts the body up and off the frame of the truck, and the suspension lift drops the suspension components closer to the ground thus lifting the truck, go with a suspension lift you'll be much happier with the end result

i agree with fordboi completely...you will be much happier with a suspension lift...

youre 2wd!!! get a suspension lift because they are cheap and the 'right' way to do it. us 98+ 4x4 guys have the $200 bodylift option or the $1500 suspension lift option. go suspension.
