Snows here! Michigan weather! I just finished my 3 inch body lift and once I got it back on the road, the 4WD stopped working (As in it doesn't work now that the body lift is on) I skipped the step -

10) 4 Wheel Drive Models Only. If the vehicle is equipped with electronic 4 wheel drive shift control, remove the wire loom mounting tab from the bracket on the rear of the transfer case under the driver's seat. The wire loom will be remounted after the lifting operation is complete.

- and totally forgot about it until I finished lifting it and got back to driving it and engaged the 4WD and now it doesn't work! Did something concerning the tab get pulled loose in the process of lifting the body? Any help would be much appreciated considering now is when i need it most!

Check the wiring harness on the back of the transfer case. It's possible that the wires came unplugged.

i'll check it, hopefully thats just it
thanks

It probobly did come un clipped. My Explorers wiring harness is just about maxed out after the body lift.
