I am at the step to bend the brake lines. i got the cover and clamps off. it says to bend them to gain slack. i am not sure how to bend them. do you use your hands or a small pipe bender. i want to be careful so i dont break any. i am putting a 3" on a 98 ranger. thanks for the info.

Just use your hands

I didnt even have to bend mine on my 99', i just had a buddy keep an eye on em when i jacked the front up and i didn't have any problems.

That was the same on mine. i had to bend 1 line a little bit just to get it to stop rubbing on the frame. I guess we were lucky.
