I am posting this question for a friend. He drives a bone stock '99 GMC Sonoma. I know it's not a RANGER, but it is a basic question. I know you cannot use the bumper to tow if you move it up with the lift. With a body lifted truck, will there be any affect on the towing capacity? He will get a hitch for his truck instead of using the bumper. This is his work truck that he uses to pull his lawn trailer everyday.

Your feedback is much appreciated!
Thanks, Dep. Ranger

You can use the back bumper for towing as long as you didn't use a lift bracket for it (the bumper ill still be on the frame. And a hitch will be fine too as it is also on the frame... its gonna look funny if he lifted the bumper though cause it hitch will stay in the same spot.

thanks for all of your posts. thanks for answering my question. i will let him know.
