I want to bob my bed and move the axle forward, as much as possible up to around a foot. The problem is that the gas tank is right there and the frame goes down a little right around that point.
Has anyone been able to bob it and move the axle forward? what measurements did you use?
Im also planning on throwing in chevy 63" springs with 6400's and a full width 9 inch at the same time i bob it if that changes anything.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

if you are wanting to move the axle forward a foot...the best thing to do is link it and use a fuel cell....otherwise with the longer chevy leaves your front spring hanger will be close to the tranny crossmember ( this is a quick guess since i know on a stock Ranger SC you have to mod the rear cab mount to place the front spring hanger there for the 63" springs )

if you want a better starting point for a shorter wheelbase...use a B2 chassis with the SC cab....
