hello. What the hell is the spring looking thing in my 7.5 rearend and how do i remove it to get the c-clips out?

It's the spring for the limited slip.
You don't have to remove the S spring to get the c-clips off. Remove the cross pin and or you have 3.73s or 4.10s rotate the crosspin so the flat side will allow you to slide it halfway out then push the axles in and remove the c-clips.

Yea, i had the s clip pushed too far wouldnt let axle shove in.
