Howdy,

Recently by bronco II has had a bit of a compression problem, and a problem blowing a heavy white smoke. Well just yesterday i finally put two and two together and came to the conclusion that i might have a blown head gasket. The only thing that is keeping me from pronouncing this as the problem is i haven't had water in my oil, or at least i think i dont. The oil is dark black and the oil has been ran only 200 miles is this a sign there is water in it?

And also i did a compression test and the compression came back really low.

i have had water in my oil before in my 88 BII, it's kind of a light tan color i would say. it seems like it happened when i blew a head gasket and when my water pump went out.

that's as much as i know, not too knowledgeable about compression problems. anyways, if you had water in the oil, you would know.
