blowing front hubs

hi guys i've been blowing my front hubs like crazy on my dana35. ive tried welding the guts of the auto which worked for about 3 hours till i really got on it while stuck out in the trails and ive blown a mile marker while doing the same thing. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me i want to try and lock it out completely and just get some bulletproof untill i have the money to throw a solid axle under it.

any ideas will be greatly appreciated thanks

You are going through just auto hubs, or manual too?



EDIT: A great upgrade is to switch to the Jeep hubs (Warn P/N 37780). Here's a couple great "how-to's" on swapping to manual hubs.

ive had both manual and welded auto hubs but maybe i just need to get beefyer manuals...thanks for the advice

Autos and Mile Markers suck, the Warn manual (same as factory manuals) hubs are much better and the Warn Jeep hubs are even better.
