My 95 Ranger blower motor won't come on. I have checked the fuses, replaced the relay, replaced the blower motor itself, and replaced the blower motor resistor. I'm out of ideas. Anyone have any advice?
Thanks Earl43P,
I had already gone through the first link. The second one should help though. After looking at it I decided, well, I threw every other part at it so I may as well replace the blower switch in the control assembly. I did, and sadly, still nothing. It has to be in the wiring somewhere.
Do a thorough visual inspection / dis-assembly / cleaning of the engine compartment inner fender grounds. Don't know offhand which is Ground 102, lemme look at the 93, might be the same spot. (I ;\looked, it can't be the ground. It's shared with the PCM, CPS, CMP, etc. engine wouldn't run.)
I'd get in there with a test light or meter and see where power ISN'T.
You SURE the connector on the resistor block doesn't have corroded up groady pins?
Check for power at the relay. My 97 lost the main hot wire to the relay. It had corroded off.I replaced the end and all was good. You will have to open relay box to get at the wiring.
