blower motor resistor

I had it go out on me a few days ago. I went to the local autozone, and advance auto parts, and they had no such part listed for 3.0L V6, which confused me a little, since I had the part off and it was present on the counter. I then asked to see a resistor for an F150 of the same year, and bingo, they were identical. After installation, I did some research and found most ford vehicles use the same resistor and have identical blower motors etc. just a piece of info I thought I'd share incase anyone wasn't aware.

i found that too including the interior controls in the ford cars
and people wonder why i like ford soo much

The one currently in my Ranger is from an F-150...nice to know that and I recommend using those parts instead of the Ranger ones...for some reason the Rangers corrode way faster...
