I have an 89 Bronco ii. the blower motor stopped working last week, i hooked 12v up to the motor and it works fine, no fuses blown either. does anyone know where the relay for the motor is, im assuming its in the same spot as a ranger.

There is no relay in that circuit.

Blower motor resistor in the heater air box?

I checked the resistor it looks fine, my next guess would be the switch

You won't find a problem in the resistor by looking at it.

But the resistor would leave high speed working, so it is probably a fuse or a switch. Or a ground issue.

Sorry let me rephrase, I metered the resistor. I checked all the fuses and they're all good, I doubt it's a ground because it worked before but I could be wrong

My Sidekick had same thing turned out to be the switch on the dash...providing you are getting nothing at the blower at any speed...and everything else (fuses connectors et al) are OK...the switch may have crumbled...

Only other thing might be the power plug on the side of the motor...inspect closely for breaks in wires...all the way as far as you can see...
