Block Spacer Plate

Hey guys, I'm having a hard time finding a replacement Block Spacer Plate. At least thats what I think its called. Its the thin sheetmetal spacer between the bellhousing and engine, it has a cutout for the starter as well.

Anyone have link to this spacer plate/shield or an upgraded replacement?

I doubt there's going to be an aftermarket version of it. I would try your local ford dealer. If they have a good parts guy he can search the inventory of all ford dealers across the country, give you the part number and the phone number of the dealer that has one and they will ship it to you. If that doesn't work I'd try ebay, if you don't have luck at first switch your location to the UK, these engines were more popular over there. Not all the parts between our 2.8s and theirs are interchangeable but I would think that the plate would be. LMC truck might make one, they are about the best source we have so also worth a shot.

Bronco graveyard has ones for quite a few different engines, junkyard or if you know someone with a CNC plasma table

Junk yard would be your best bet or maybe a favor from someone that runs one such as JBG. You could make your own if you wanted too. Not that complicated.
