hello everyone am doing some homework for this motor swap am about to do. I have 1996 (ranger 3.0l) distributorless and a have a pre 95 motor with the distributor I would like to use it in my truck just change everything over from mine. I guess the question is will it work? from what I can tell the only difference is the camshaft and crank senor. O found what looks to be a ID Number on the block that reads F2DE-6015-B on both again Im just double checking any input helps thanks

That is a part number. The best way to figure it out is get a part number off the other block. If they are both the same, it is the same block.

It will work. Swap over accessories, synchro, etc. Do a search for more info, there are hundreds of posts on here about this question.
