Is it possible for a clutch line (reservoir to master or master to slave) to be bad or not connected properly and the fluid doesn't leak? I'm having problems getting my system bled. I keep getting air from some place (bubbles in the bottle hooked up to the bleeder valve). I replaced the master and slave. It doesn't leak fluid but I can't seem to get any pedal.

The damned master cylinders are hell to bleed. I bought one filled and bled. Worth the extra cost ($40 extra). The problem is the outlet for the slave is at the lowest point in the master cylinder, as is the inlet from the reservoir.
The likelihood is that it just isn't bled yet.

Thanks, I was hoping for a "probably hasn't been bled yet" reply. I'll get back to the bleeding. I was not looking forward to replacing something else. I have gotten pretty good at dropping the trans though. But I'd much rather drive the truck than take it apart.

The trick is to remove the maser from the firewall, point the end of it upwards, and then operate it by hand a few times to get the air out. Really helps if you can bleed it before installing.
