Bleeding clutch on 1984 B2

The process is different from the B2/Ranger from 1985 and up. The bleeder is a screw that just allows fluid to pour out a separate hole with no nipple. The slave is also external. Any help on bleeding it? The master cylinder is good and the slave is brand new. Thanks.

get a vac pump in there if you can. I'm having some bleed issues myself. Can't seem to make it hold the bleed, but no signs of leakage.

read and religously follow the instructions in the tech section about bench bleeding.

Some have also had success by jacking the back up until the front bumper almost touches the ground.

Took me about a week to get all the air out on my 84 conversion.

the clutch pedal arm isn't as stiff as it should
be on these rigs. it can bend and twist so it
doesn't have enough stroke to keep enough
fluid moving to keep the air purged. if you
twist it back and put a dimple where it hits
the floor, you wont have to bleed it. i did
that and mine has been working good for
the last five years.
