Blanca Peak

Have any of you guys been up blanca near Alamosa CO?

Ive done camping near there, at the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Pretty sweet place but they dont allow vehicles out on the sand. As far as blanca goes I know there are trails nearby but they are pretty burly. There is always a dark storm cloud above blanca when I see it. It would be a fun hike I think.
