I may have to wash my truck soon:shok: The black mold is getting bad on the back of the cab and window:annoyed: The last time it was washed was about 2 years ago from the guy I got it from. I would think it would have laseted longer right :dunno:

You need to drive it more. :icon_thumby:

Where my dad keeps his old Dodge it grows mold too, it comes off very easy with a pressure washer... almost kind of fun really.

I drive it everyday. But it only a 2.3 so it will not go that fast:icon_idea: So that must be why the mold is growing .

Seems like theres an old saying about that..... A rolling stone gathers no moss, but a good running 2.3 cant outrun mold. Or something to that effect.

^ LMAO!!!!

As for washing it out...if it's REALLY black mould..that crap can mess you up BADLY!! It's a spore and as soon as you disturb it, it flies everywhere! Including your respratory system. Spores love growing in damp dark places.

I've watched a show on this before. An entire family got really sick suddenly and they couldn't figure out why. Both kids almost died(they're permanently on inhalers) and the dad's head is all F**ked up now to the point where he can't leave his agenda behind for longer than 5 minutes.

They found out it was black mould growing in the house that caused it.

The Hotsy sends it at somewhere around Mach 2 away from me. I don't think it is really the bad black mold, it just grows on a it from sitting in the shade all the time.

We have an E-series van at work that grew black mold on the roof. I washed it down with bleach :shok: (wouldn't do this to my own truck) and it got rid of it. Btw i have a 2.3L, and I don't think it is that slow, lol (used to own a mustang).

i think mine is growing it too. Besides a pressure washer, how would I get it off?

mitt wash the truck and then wax it good. basic detailing. a pressure washer will still leave a film on the truck. (anyone with a black or white vehicle can tell you this from experience...)

uh, oh crap, my dads 2001 f-150 he left at my house grew stuff on the shady side of the truck, i thought it was moss, but now im thinking it was mold :shok: i just hosed it off and rubbed it with my hands, i feel sick now. why dose mold like to grow on cars?

yea, i finished fixing the f-150's faulty electrical and moved it, facing the other way of the driveway, sometimes i swear that crap is growing in my house

Darn..I thought you were going to talk about a new grunge band and wanted to hear their music......get that mold off the truck!!
