I removed my orifice tube and I clearly have black death which is evident by the Teflon junk. I know I must replace just about everything. I plan to replace everything but the evaporator since I will be flushing that. Do I need to replace all the ruber hoses and Aluminium ones as well? My second question is should I use an automatic orifice adjusting tube?

use the same type of restrictor you took out.

you will need a compressor, orifice tube, and a drier. you can flush everything else out including the condenser.

just make sure you flush several times in both directions until you get clean solvent coming out

I would replace the condenser, as it's extremely difficult to get all the junk and particulate matter out of the little internal pockets typical serpentine-flow condensers have.
Any particulate matter left in the system will quickly ruin the new compressor.

The hoses can be flushed, although if they are more than 15 years old, I'd replace them as well.

I had the hoses rebuilt last October, so its the original aluminium but new rubber.

The hoses should be fine in that case. :icon_thumby:
