Black 99 Ranger build

I picked up two Rangers one 92 green and other 99 black. Both are 2WD 3.0 5 speed standards. Will be fixing the 99 Ranger, engine is shot. I got the engine and tranny out of the 92 parts truck last night.

Nice project.
Strip '92 engine down to block and heads, then transfer the '99 intake and all sensors to the '92.

Thanks for your advice RonD. I was crossing my fingers that this would work. I paid a total of $400 for both trucks.

I managed to sneak away into the shop last night. Without to much bloodshed I finished taking out the dead 99 engine. Now need to get gaskets and swap parts over onto the 92 engine.

The 92 engine is in the 99 Ranger. I need to order a new cam sensor. The gear on the other one was wore out. The ony problems I had where three bolts broke in the heads and one motor mount hole on the engine wasn't tapped for a bolt.
