bigfoot is now a chevy

It sucks that Ford pulled the sponsorship but really, was there anything "ford truck" left in bigfoot besides a rough shape on the one piece fiberglass body?

That may be the case but its just an Icon to us Ford guys and now its Gone

It was a good run I guess

We have one of the Bigfoots locally outside of a 4x4 shop

That's what I'm talking about, EXCELLENT pictures.:icon_cheers:

THAT'S the real Bigfoot to me. The first pic is an awesome ride AND a real truck body on there.

Jason, you ever seen TAKE THIS JOB AND SHOVE IT, I think whenever that movie was made Bob Chandler might have still been driving it on the street some cause it still had the 48" tall tires on it.

these are the real bigfoot. notice where the engine is?
thats a truck for you.

chev sucks.
bigfoot without an oval is like peanutbutter without jam, beavis without butthead, fat kids without mcdonalds.
we shall hang our heads in shame.
moment of silence now.

What do you expect when someone pulls out from sponsorship? GM certainly isn't sponsoring them... this decision was on Bigfoot's behalf.

And if anyone else really knows horsepower, the only way to get it is with a CHEVY. Worlds fastest 10.5" is a mustang with a bowtie based engine under the hood (or was at the time). I think Tim Lynch is running a corvette now though.

Not to hijack, but many NHRA teams would disagree and say the Chrysler Hemi design is the best way to make power.

You find me a mopar powered 10.5 outlaw that can beat Tim Lynch with his chevy based engine and then we'll see.

You find me an outlaw that makes the power a drag car does.

Bigfoot WAS a privately owned monster truck built out of an older Ford F-series with a small V8, then replaced with a larger V8 and given extra strong solid-axles AND ice-truck wheels.

This deal is supposedly only for the all star game... of which chevy is sponsoring the all star game. Hence why Bigfoot is running with bowtie equipment. Everything else "BIGFOOT" is Ford, which appears to include what they are running for 2010 with the exception of the Chevy.

I'm gonna go stick my balls in a toaster now....
