YEsterday while cleanin out my truck, i went to replace my dome light and i hit the pos and neg wit a screwdriver. Now my wipers, speedo dont work and my airbag symbol is flickering.. Any idea on what it is. Checked all the fuses, there ok.. I need help!!

Knowing the year of your truck would help (although the mention of the airbag light tells me you have a 1995 or newer)

I don't know as much on the later truck's electrical (maybe someone else will chime in), although often times fuses can "look" good, but actually be blown.

I would pull the fuse for the dome light circuit and actually test it (or just replace it) and see if that fixes it.
There are fuses under the hood as well, maybe one blew there (power distribution box).

I just had the same problem happen in my 2001 trying to take out the dome light. how did you end up fixing this?:icon_confused:

I can't speak for newer rangers specifically, but some cars have under-hood fuses that blanket groups of interior components, that's where I would start. Your manual will tell you which one to check. They are not transparent, so you'll have to test or replace it to see if that's the actual problem, but that's where I'm casting my vote.
