i want to get a 33x10.5 tire. i really like the look of the bfg m/t km1 and a buddy said they are great on the road (since thats where i'll be mostly) but they don't make them anymore. :( so are there any other tires that look similar to that tire and are quiet and good on the road and don't destroy your gas tank. if not should i just look for used ones or switch over to the a/t?

well. yeah. but i don't like the tread pattern nearly as much as the km1's

its hard to find tires in that size, you cant really find an off brand mud tire like you can with 33x12.50. i had some dunlops, but dunlop stopped making that size. if you are going to be mostly on road, i would go with bfg all terrains.... i know, they arent a mud tire, but they are still pretty decent off road, and the lugs on this size are quite bigger than most for some reason. i would also check out goodyear wrangler mud tires. dick cepik and tsl offer tires in this size also for a lot of $$$ though. i would go to barnes and noble or something and buy an offroad magazine with the most/cheapest selection of tires and look for that size.

Look around at overstock places, that is about the only place you find them now. If you can find them they are usually pretty cheap.

I just got a set with the Jeep Rubicon tread pattern last spring for my F-150, I love them. :yahoo:

Dunlops have a similar look to them and perform well in mud and loose snow (my Ranger has a set) I got them used so who knows how they were rotated before I got them, but they are kind of loud.

Theres a few posts on here about retreads with similar patterns, maybe look them up
