BFG AT's no more?

its a simple supply and demand deal. NO WHERE could I get 35" MT's 6 months ago.

I don't understand the craze over BFG AT tires.... but I doubt they'll stop making 'em.

I was satisfied with Sport King AT radials, but they cost about as much as a BFG. When I bought my last set I got them for a hundred a tire for 30's. (Oh, and to who asked about 30's, most 30's are just rebadged 235/75/15s).

I've been starting to do some looking around, I need a new set of tires for my F-150 for winter an my choptop will need new tires once I get the axle swapped. Not sure what I'm gonna go with yet. I've been tempted to just put a mud pattern on my F-150...(Super Swamper Truxxus MT)

The craze is because they are all terrains that have seen 80k miles plus.

Must be nice to be able to afford those tires. I have a flat as of this morning and no money to replace the tires.

I have 50k on my Widetrack Baja AT's, they have about one more winter left in them. Still run down the road pretty quiet too.

I paid just shy of $80/tire four years ago for them and have been very impressed with them for the money.

I've looked and everything I've found is stick size and in bad shape sadly.

ummm not there not a 235 is a 28.9 inch tall tire
Yes, but most tire companies just put a different number on the sidewall, this has been covered before.

heh, I wish I could still get Remington Rimfire XT tires... aggressive AT tread, used to be $70 a piece, and they'd easily see 80k. One of the tire shops I went to trying to find 'em again said that he had a guy who loved 'em too, cuz he got over 100k more than once out of 'em.

So I ordered a set from discount tire.com. They said they don;t have any and BFG doesnt have any. Would be at least 2 month wait.

Stopped at local tire place on my way to work. He said maybe they arent making them anymore.

What are your suggestions for an alternate tire.
AT or MT, nothing too expensive.

ADD:
I just emailed BFG to ask about why nobody has tires to sell me.

If I can't get a hold of BFG's, I've always run Kuhmo MT's. Never had any issues with them.

Im not saying that there arent other tires just as good. But I also know that when I ran bfg's on my expo, 285/75/17 I never had an issue towing or anything, they were stable with a load, good grip for florida weather wet/dry, lasted forever,(I bought some with just over half tread and ran them almost a year.)
