Beware of a company named Software-HQ in Ohio they will rip you off!
I was surfing the internet looking for info. While trying to retrive the info a statment said the I needed to down load a
certain software in order to view it. Well this company said that it will cost me $12.00 for the download. So like a dummy I put my CC's #'s in and the next thing I'm being charged $70.80!!!
CC said that they can not do a thing without a statement from this rip off company. And that I need to resolve this with them.
Seems like I'm not the only one that has been ripped off.
Do a google search and they will stick out like a sour thumb.

had something similar happen to me with a company called Easy Burner.
its a cover company for pay per view porn sites.software was only $9.95 and works great.
they ask you at check out if you want "free passes to 3 porn sites",even if you click no you still get them in your e-mail in box where you have to email them back to cancel.
ran up $160 on my card before i could get it stopped.took me over a month to get the charges reversed.

CC said that they can not do a thing without a statement from this rip off company. And that I need to resolve this with them.

If you have any documentation saying that you only authorized a payment for 12 on that date then you can issue a chargeback to the company. I see / hear about this alot being in the CC industry. Mostly it is because someone will buy something on one date, then the money isn't taken from their account until 2 weeks later, so they can technically say this was an unauthorized purchase. (hope that makes some sense)
