FYI. Your shaft failure is 100% due to the joints. If you run Spicers, you would be just fine with a chromo 44 shafts.

I can pop NAPA, Brute Force, and any other "Heavy Duty" replacement in a matter of minutes, but the Spicer 5-760X joints will last a quite a while. I also have full circle snap rings and tacked caps. I am yet to fail a 760 joint in a chromo shaft.

went to fordyce finally. had a great time and i didnt break anything!! but i did get some good body damage.

I swaped out the front carrier for a open one. I had to pick my lines and work it a bit harder but my shafts are still in one peice.

Hey man is that a 3" ballistic joint? Or a 2.63? I am thinking its the 3 but I wanted to make sure. I am about to purchase some joints for my 3-link build and just figuring out what size I should get.

its a 3'' joint. i wanted the most bad ass joints i could get.

ya not having the front locked does kind of suck but it just makes me use some of that horse power which i enjoy. i do have a d60 im the garage but i think its going under my f250

a couple of updates. i got my antiwrap bar put in. what a difference the rear feels alot more solid.






i also made a x member to protect the radiator



scored a new compressor for free



went to fordyce a couple of weeks ago and was hit with the famous falling off ford brake caliper so i cut the trip short. anyone else have this problem?
