Best type of plastic stock to use for body lift bushings

Where can you find that enough hockey pucks to do that at 1 store? I'd think even a Canadian Walmart would be pushin it.....:icon_confused:

Not walmart. They sell made-in-china pucks...

Canadian Tire all the way! They sell nice ones made in Scandinavia for $1.29. And yes, they totally stock more than enough pucks to use 40 on a lift.

Canadian Tire freakin' rules.

That UHMW stuff is unbelievably tough. We did a test in a high pressure blow-down pot and compared it to a piece of 410 stainless. The UHMW showed half the wear.

I should be ordereing the stock next week, I'll break out the lathe and make some up, I'll take some pics and post 'em up.

for a 1 in lift, i wouldnt think twice about the scananavian pucks.

i have broken every pa type "real" block, some several times over my main rigs life. many 4x4 shops sell them in singles on occasion and i pick a few up here and there to have around. though these days i would just make metal ones.

+Rep for that answer.

Thanks man:icon_thumby: We use it for all kinds of stuff from the runners on dogs sleds and snowmachine sleds to armor on the bottom of our jet-boats, the list goes on and on.

i bought some 1" pucks from performance accessories for pretty cheap. they sell 1, 2 and 3" individually
